Samuel B. Lawler IV: Executive Chef of Lawler Catering and CFCC North Campus. Born and raised in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania , Chef Sam is fourth generation to a long line of ancestors who served the high priests in monasteries in Budapest in the early 1900′s, to family entertaining through the years and finally to the family owned and operated business. A Viking Alumni of John T. Hoggard High School, Sam enjoyed culinary competitions that led to a degree from Johnson & Wales University. Chef is certified in Front of the House & Classical French Dining, Sanitation & Safety, Food & Beverage Cost Control, Nutrition & Service and a member of the American Culinary Federation. Chef Sam has been showcasig his talents at the annual Wilmington Wine & Chocolate Festival over the last several years, and not only presides over a “Live” carving station at the Grand Tasting, but performs two live demo’s over the week-end. A young talent today, will undoubtably lead Lawler Catering into the future
